Running and managing remote procedures

Once a client application connects to an AppServer, the client application can invoke requests to:

Run remote procedures persistently or non-persistently on the AppServer using the RUN statement.
Run internal procedures and user-defined functions in remote persistent procedures.
Run both remote external and internal procedures asynchronously.
Note: A user-defined function cannot run asynchronously.
Delete remote persistent procedures using the DELETE PROCEDURE or DELETE OBJECT statement.
